Dr. Curt Hinson’s Physical Education workshop, Moving Bodies & Developing Minds, is an interactive and dynamic experience that provides participants with actual games, activities and teaching strategies they can implement immediately into their physical education curriculum. Participants in this workshop will learn dozens and dozens of hands-on games and activities for teaching fitness, manipulative skills, motor skills and social/emotional skills. This workshop includes: quick warm-up activities; fitness circuits; aerobic activities; cooperative games; sport lead-up games; motor skill tasks; motivational techniques; and more. In addition, participants will learn cognitive and affective learning activities that will increase problem-solving, critical thinking, creative thinking, as well as social/emotional development. Curt’s workshop is filled with fun, easy-to-implement games and activities to help offer success to all children, regardless of ability. Participants will walk away with a variety of activities they can go back and use the very next day!
